Epping, NH : Car crash causes vehicle fire Saturday June 28th 2014.
New Hampshire State Police Troop A responded to a motor vehicle accident Saturday that caused a significant traffic backup and closed lanes on Interstate 95.According to a press release, David Collamor, 26, of Braintree, Mass., was stopping heavy traffic on Interstate 95 near exit 5 in a 2010 Nissan Sentra. Douglas Cormier, 38, of Portsmouth, who was driving a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan, struck Collamor's vehicle in the rear.
Collamor's vehicle then caught fire and was soon engulfed in flames.No one was injured as a result of the collision or fire.All I95 lanes were closed for approximately 10 minutes. One lane was then opened up for 43 minutes, causing significant backup northbound.
