LOUISVILLE, KY : 78-year-old Louisville woman killed in fatal crash in Buechel on Saturday, 2nd March 2024

An elderly woman was killed in a deadly crash Saturday morning in Louisville's Buechel neighborhood.

At about 7:30 a.m., Louisville Metro police responded to a motor vehicle collision on the Buechel Bypass at Plaza Avenue, according to an LMPD news release.

Investigators believe a woman driving a car was traveling southbound on the Buechel Bypass when she tried to make a left-hand turn onto Plaza Avenue, turning into the path of a pickup truck that was traveling northbound on the bypass.
