A man is seriously injured and after a vehicle crash in D.C. on Sunday night.
The crash took place around 4:30 p.m. in the 1500 block of South Capitol in Southeast.
The male driver of one vehicle was ejected and sustained significant trauma injuries. He was transported to a local hospital with what police believe to be life threatening injuries.
An adult woman and a child were in the second vehicle involved in the crash.
Both were transported to local hospitals with what are believed to be non life threatening injuries.
The circumstances of the crash remain under investigation.
