Milwaukee ,WI :69 -Years old Paul F. Illemann, killed after hit by school bus along Highway 41 on Thursday morning ,June 4th 2015

A man killed Thursday morning when he was hit by a school bus on a Highway 41 ramp has been identified by authorities as Paul F. Illemann, 69, of Milwaukee.

Illemann was struck on the southbound on-ramp of Highway 41 at N. 46th St. and W. Wisconsin Ave., according to the Milwaukee County medical examiner's office.

Illemann was walking with a dog, which also was killed, the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office said.

The on-ramp to Highway 41 was closed Thursday morning while authorities investigated.
