Castaic, CA : Two people injured following a two-vehicle traffic collision in Castaic on Tuesday, February 10, 2015
Two people were injured and rushed to the hospital this morning following a two-vehicle traffic collision in Castaic, a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Fire Department said.
Shortly after 6:40 a.m. Tuesday, paramedics responded to reports of people trapped in their vehicles in the southbound lanes of Interstate 5, just north of Castaic Road, Fire Department Inspector Randall Wright said.
Although no one was trapped, paramedics took two people to the hospital.
“Two people were transported to a local area trauma center,” Wright said. “They did go with our paramedics and they did receive advanced life support.”
The crash involved a white pickup truck and a gold-colored Honda, according to reports received by the California Highway Patrol.
One of the vehicles flipped onto its side in the collision.
