Authorities say three southeast Georgia students have been taken to a hospital after a bus transporting members of a high school band crashed in South Carolina.
The Savannah Morning News reports the bus from Effingham County High School collided with a car on Highway 321 outside Jasper, South Carolina. That's near the Georgia-South Carolina state line.
Effingham County sheriff's spokesman David Ehsanipoor says no life-threatening injuries were reported. He says the bus was carrying as many as 35 students, and an unknown number of them were taken to a fire station after the crash.
Ehsanipoor said the South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. Deputies from Effingham County, northwest of Savannah, were dispatched to the scene to assist.
