Moss Bluff, LA : One person killed and two others injured after a two-vehicle crash in Calcasieu Parish on Tuesday night, December 29, 2015

State police are investigating a fatal crash in Moss Bluff.

Sgt. James Anderson says the two-vehicle accident happened Tuesday night on U.S. Highway 171.

Anderson say a pickup driven by 38-year-old Brandon Guzman of Moss Bluff was traveling north crossed into the southbound lanes. He says another pickup driven by 22-year-old Richard Collins of Lake Charles was traveling south and struck the passenger side of Guzman's truck.

Anderson say a passenger in Guzman's truck, 39-year-old James LeDoux of Moss Bluff, was not wearing a seat belt and taken to a nearby hospital and pronounced dead.

He says Guzman and Collins were taken to area hospitals with moderate injuries.

The crash remains under investigation and charges are pending.
