A fiery crash on Interstate 80 near Cozad destroyed a vehicle, set grass on fire at the crash site, but resulted in no injuries.
Shortly after 2 p.m. on Friday a vehicle heading westbound in the passing lane near Cozad drifted into the right lane and hit the back of a semi, also heading westbound, before exiting the roadway to the north. The vehicle caught fire and entered the north side ditch before coming to rest in a tree-lined grassy area.
