YADKINVILLE, NC : Car crashes into Yadkinville home teen faces DWI charge on Sunday, 16th April 2023

The teen driver who reportedly crashed through the roof of a Yadkinville home was allegedly intoxicated and underage, according to a citation report.
A 1999 Honda was driving over 70 mph on Sugartown Road, which was soaked in rain, according to Highway Patrol and the citation report. The Yadkinville Volunteer Fire Department says the driver lost control and hit a homeowner’s vehicle parked in the driveway. They were driving so fast that they ended up on the roof of the home. Two people were in the car when it crashed and were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
