Mason County, WA : Two dead in Mason County crash on Sunday morning, June 1, 2014
The Mason County Sheriff's Office said it appears that alcohol and possibly marijuana were factors in a crash that killed two people Sunday morning.
Mason County Coroner Wes Stockwell identified the dead as David Michael Dudley Jr., 19, of Bremerton, and Alena J. Pepi, 18, of Port Orchard.
One person was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle after the crash.
The Mason County Sheriff's Office said the crash happened off Forest Service Road 23.
The Sheriff's Office said five people were in the back bed of the pick-up, which was traveling at a high speed. All five were ejected when the truck left the road and crashed into a tree.
