Bethel, VT : 63-year-old Tavian Mayer seriously injured in hit-and-run crash on Route 107 in Bethel on Tuesday morning, June 23, 2015

Police are looking for a driver who ran away from his car after not paying for gas at a Vermont station and then colliding with another car, injuring that driver.

Police said the crash happened Tuesday morning at the Locust Creek Outfitters on Route 107 in Bethel.

The driver of the other car, 63-year-old Tavian Mayer of Royalton, was in serious, but stable condition at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire.

Anyone with information on the crash and the driver is asked to call the Vermont State Police, Royalton Barracks.
