Omaha, NE : Bluffs woman, 36, ticketed in connection with crash on Friday, March 10th 2017

A 36-year-old the Council Bluffs woman was ticketed early Friday in connection with a crash in the Bluffs.

Police said the crash, which occurred around 1:30 a.m. at Pomona Street and Park Avenue, sent Meghan Ostrand to a Bluffs hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries.

Ostrand was ticketed on suspicion of failure to maintain control of a motor vehicle, police said.

Police said a 2007 Nissan Maxima was southbound on Park Avenue when Ostrand lost control of the car. The Maxima struck several parked cars and a curb, causing the car to flip onto its roof.
