SHOW LOW, AZ ; At least 1 dead after crash involving semi-truck near Show Low on Tuesday, 8th October 2024

At least one person is dead after a crash on a northern Arizona freeway on Tuesday morning.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety says it is investigating a deadly crash involving a semi-truck that happened on the U.S. 60 near milepost 328, about 15 miles south of Show Low.

Officers responded to the crash around 1:45 a.m. as the semi-truck was fully engulfed in flames. The driver was found dead in the cab of the semi-truck.

DPS said the truck was carrying mail, but no mail was reported damaged.
