Sabattus, ME : 59- Years old Kenneth Hutter killed after he crossed the center line and hit car on Monday Morning ,May 4th 2015

Sabattus police say a Bowdoinham man was killed in a head-on crash Monday morning.

Police said Kenneth Hutter was driving west of Crowley Road when he crossed the center line trying to avoid a cat in the road and hit a car coming in the opposite direction.

Hutter, 58, died at the scene, according to police.

The driver of the second vehicle and her passenger were taken to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation, police said.
