SALISBURY, MA : Man killed, 2 injured in head-on crash on I-495 in Salisbury on Monday, 13th January, 2020

The driver of an Audi was killed and two others were injured when a car crossed the median of Interstate-495 and struck another vehicle head-on.

The 20-year-old Audi operator from Seabrook, New Hampshire died at the scene and the 38-year-old driver of the other car was brought to the hospital with serious injuries. A 22-year-old man who was a passenger in the Audi was treated for minor injuries, Massachusetts State Police said.The names of the victims have not been released yet, police said.

“The speed of the Audi is believed to have been a factor in the crash,” police said.

The crash occurred at about 4:45 p.m., Monday. The Audi was heading south when the driver lost control of the vehicle crossed into the northbound lane and struck the 2013 Lexus RX450, police said.
