Marksville, LA : 24-year-old man was dead in a single-vehicle accident on Sunday afternoon September 21st 2014

State police say a 24-year-old man from Jefferson Davis Parish died in a single-vehicle accident in Avoyelles Parish. Trooper says Timothy J. Vanness, of Welsh, was eastbound on La. Highway 114 Sunday afternoon when his car ran off the road and hit a concrete culvert before overturning several times. Investigators say Vanness was not wearing his seatbelt and was ejected during the crash. He was pronounced dead.
