Two people were killed in a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 12
Two people were killed in a multi-vehicle crash that closed all eastbound lanes of Highway 12 in Santa Rosa Saturday afternoon, authories said.
The California Highway Patrol responded to reports of a crash on the highway west of Farmers Lane at around 5:20 p.m. and found two victims suffering from injuries sustained in the collision. Both victims, whose identities were not immediately available, died at the scene, a CHP dispatcher said.
Officials could not confirm whether there were any other injuries.
All eastbound lanes were still closed to traffic as of 7 p.m. and the CHP had no estimate as to when they would reopen.
