VOLUNTOWN, CT : 55-year-old dies in Voluntown motorcycle crash on Thursday, 25th July 2024

A man has died after a motorcycle crash in Voluntown.

State police say 55-year-old Donald Sunny of Jewett City has died after hitting a guardrail in the area of 330 Shetucket Turnpike.

The crash occurred at around 5:22 p.m.

Sunny had been traveling westbound on Shetucket Turnpike downhill when he struck a metal guardrail and was thrown from his motorcycle.
