Middlebury, CT : Danbury resident hospitalized in I-84 crash that killed two on Thursday, 9th April, 2020

A Plymouth resident was killed in a crash on I-84 in Middlebury Thursday, according to state police.
The one-vehicle crash occured at approximately 4:30 p.m. near Exit 17 in Middlebury, Trooper Christopher Rivera said in a release. A Chevy Cobalt was observed “traveling at a high rate of speed before losing control,” Rivera said.
Daniel Veness Jr., 20, of Waterbury and Kayla Veness, 18, of Plymouth, were killed in the crash, according to the release. Three others, including a Danbury resident, were hospitalized.
