Park River, ND : 45-year-old man killed in ATV rollover accident in Walsh County on Sunday afternoon, April 24, 2016

Authorities say a 45-year-old Park River man has been killed in an all-terrain vehicle rollover accident in Walsh County.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol says troopers were called in to assist the Walsh County Sheriff's Department on Sunday afternoon after a local farmer came upon the scene.

The investigation found that Wade Kalgard was driving an ATV southwest across a field when it rolled over due to a change in terrain. Kalgard died from injuries sustained in the crash.

The incident occurred on a private agricultural field northeast of the junction of Highway 32 and Highway 17, west of Park River.
