Scottsdale, AZ : Motorcycle driver dies after colliding with a minivan at a Scottsdale intersection on Tuesday, March 3, 2015

A fatal wreck between a motorcycle and a minivan has forced the closure of a north Scottsdale intersection.

Scottsdale police say a motorcycle collided with a van at about 4 p.m. Tuesday near the intersection of Greenway Hayden Loop and Paradise Lane.

Police say the motorcycle's driver died at the scene.

The person's name, age and hometown weren't immediately released.

Police say the cause of the accident is under investigation.
