The Lexington County sheriff’s deputies are investigating a man’s death in South Congaree.
Sheriff’s Capt. Adam Myrick says officers were sent to investigate a shots fired report and found the victim’s body late Wednesday morning.
Coroner Margaret Fisher said in a news release that the victim was 23-year-old Rodney Steven Isaac.
Myrick says deputies are searching for a single suspect and there is no immediate danger to neighbors. Investigators think the victim and the suspect knew each other.
An autopsy was planned on Friday.
