53-year-old man driving a van struck a pole in Dayton

Authorities say a 53-year-old man driving a van struck a pole in Dayton and was killed.

The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office says that the man was driving south on North Main Street around 10:30 p.m. Saturday and went off the right side of the roadway.

He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Harrison Township Fire Department.
