Pell City woman killed in Tuesday traffic accident

A Pell City woman was killed in a one car accident Tuesday on U.S. 231.St. Clair County Coroner Dennis Russell said Latanja Nobles, 39, was a passenger in a car traveling south on the highway when it left the road and struck a tree.

The accident occurred at 1:40 p.m.Nobles died at the scene of blunt force trauma. The driver, a man, was transported to UAB Hospital.
