Canton, OH : Passenger dies after driver hits pole, bridge in Canton on Saturday morning, November 1, 2014

A driver walked away from an accident that killed his passenger early Saturday morning. Canton man Timothy Weston, 30, was driving his pickup truck northbound near the 1300 block of Harrison Avenue SW, when he struck a utility pole and a bridge. The passenger in the truck was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. Witnesses then saw Weston exit the wrecked vehicle and walking down nearby train tracks towards Dueber Avenue SW. Police received a call around 1:45 a.m. and were able to locate Weston with the help of the witnesses. The identity of the passenger is not being released until the family is notified.
