Windsor, CT : Wrong-way driver caused serious crash on Route 159, or Windsor Avenue, near the I-91 overpass on Thursday, 30th April, 2020

At least three people were injured in a head-on crash in Windsor Thursday, police said.
Some of the injuries are serious, but all are expected to survive, Capt. Andrew Power said.The cars collided about 4:15 p.m. on Route 159, or Windsor Avenue, near the I-91 overpass. Police suspect one car, which had more than one occupant, was headed south in the lanes for northbound traffic.A section of the road was shut down while officers from a regional accident reconstruction team, the North Central Municipal Accident Reconstruction Squad, gathered evidence. The road has since been reopened.
