Las Vegas, NV : Pedestrian killed in hit-and-run in North Las Vegas on Monday November 23 2015

A pedestrian was killed today in a hit-and-run in North Las Vegas, but officers later located the vehicle and driver, police said.
The incident was reported about 12:20 p.m. in the area of North 5th Street and East Lone Mountain Road, North Las Vegas Police Officer Aaron Patty said.
The pedestrian, whose age and gender were not immediately available, died at scene.
Police have closed 5th Street from Lone Mountain to Sergeant Jordan Avenue.
