ST. LOUIS, MO : South St. Louis motorcycle crash leaves 1 dead on Monday, 7th October 2024
One person was killed in a motorcycle crash early Tuesday morning in south St. Louis.
According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, Accident Reconstruction investigators were called at about 3:15 a.m. Tuesday to a single-vehicle crash at the intersection of Gustine and Gravois avenues, located on the edge of the city's Gravois Park neighborhood.
In a Tuesday afternoon update, police said the man was speeding eastbound on Gravois when he lost control of the bike and struck his head on the curb. He was not wearing a helmet.
The man had not been identified as of Tuesday afternoon.
