Idaho woman dies in crash in rural central Nevada
Nevada troopers say a 54-year-old Idaho woman who wasn't wearing a seatbelt was killed when her car rolled over in a remote area west of Tonopah.Becky Olsen of Harpster, Idaho was killed in the crash on U.S. Highway 6 in Esmeralda County. Her 51-year-old husband, who was wearing his seatbelt, had moderate injuries and was taken to Nye Regional Medical Center in Tonopah.He was released from the hospital Thursday morning.Nevada Highway Patrol officials say Olsen was driving a Subaru Outback about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday when she drifted to the edge of the road. Authorities say she overcorrected, flipped the vehicle and was thrown out.She was pronounced dead on the scene.
