Everett, WA : 89-year-old man died after a car crash on Saturday, October 22, 2016

An 89-year-old man who died after a car crash was identified as Roy W. Bennett, of Everett.

Bennett died Monday from blunt force injuries, according to the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office.

He was involved in a collision around 2 p.m. Saturday in the 900 block of 112th Street SE. He was turning onto 112th Street SE when an eastbound driver struck his car. The other driver, 17, was not injured.

Bennett’s death was classified as an accident, according to a press release. Everett police continue to investigate the crash.
