A three-car accident sent a Bethel woman to the hospital, police said.
John Delbono, 20, was driving north on Danbury Road when an ill-timed lane change to the left sent him into the side of another vehicle, police said.
Police said this initial contact sent Delbono’s car into the southbound lane of traffic, where a third car barreled into its side.
The driver of the southbound car, 22-year-old Maria Zuniga, was transported to Norwalk Hospital with “suspected minor injuries,” police said.
A passenger in the car that was initially struck by Delbono reported injuries to police, however he did not require medical attention at the scene.
Delbono also made it out of the accident with no reported injuries, police said.
Delbono was not cited in the accident.
