TOLEDO, OH : 1 dead, 3 teens unharmed in Toledo crash on Saturday, 11th May 2024

A Toledo woman who sustained life-threatening injuries after a crash Saturday evening has died, according to the traffic division.

Daneasha Sherman, 31, was taken to the hospital yesterday after crews used the jaws of life to pull her from her car. The Toledo Traffic Division says she later died from her injuries.

Officers say the crash happened just before 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of Byrne Rd. and Hill Ave. in Toledo.

According to TPD, the woman ran a red light and hit another vehicle turning left, causing her car to flip and hit a pole.
