CHERRY TOWNSHIP, PA : Three vehicles were involved a crash on Saturday, July 29, 2017
Three vehicles were involved a crash at 12:45 p.m. Saturday at Highway 37 near Hartman Road in Cherry Township.
Emily A. Gardeski, 18, of Hibbing, was driving a 2011 Chrysler 200 eastbound on Highway 37 approaching a construction zone flagger when she rear-ended a 2013 Chrysler 300 also traveling eastbound on Highway 37 by William J. Butkovich, 18, of Chisholm, according to a Minnesota State Patrol (MSP) report. As a result of the initial crash, Butkovich rear-ended a 2007 Lincoln MKX traveling eastbound on Highway 37 by Aimee J. Raskovich, 37, of Hibbing.
Gardeski was wearing a seatbelt and an airbag deployed in the Chrysler 200. She was transported to Fairview Range Medical Center (FRMC) in Hibbing for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Butkovich and his passengers: a 16 year old from Chisholm, Andrew J. Jugovich, 19, of Chisholm, and Lilly M. Rewertz, 18, of Hibbing, were all transported to FRMC for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. All four were wearing seatbelts, but an airbag didn’t deploy in the Chrysler 300.
Raskovich was wearing a seatbelt, no airbag deployed in the Lincoln and she wasn’t injured.
No alcohol was involved, according to the report.
