Burke County, NC : Apparent medical emergency results in fatal Burke County crash near the entrance of t Vogtle units 3 and 4 on Friday, 28th September 2018

Burke County authorities believe the man involved in a single vehicle crash near the entrance of Plant Vogtle on Friday morning suffered a fatal heart attack beforehand.

The driver has been identified as Robert Joseph Miswell, 57, of Sulpher, La. The crash occurred near the entrance of t Vogtle units 3 and 4.

The driver was dead upon arrival of emergency medical units, according to the sheriff’s office.
