Mira Monte, CA : Two people injured after crash in Ventura County on Wednesday afternoon, May 4, 2016

Two people were taken to a hospital Wednesday afternoon after a crash in Mira Monte, officials said.

The Ventura County Fire Department said it responded to the crash at 1:55 p.m. near the intersection of Villanova and Old Grade roads. The California Highway Patrol was called to provide traffic control.

Officials said those injured were taken to the Ojai Valley Community Hospital. The extent of their injuries was not immediately known.
