Dulzura, CA : Motorcyclist killed in collision in Dulzura on Sunday, October 5, 2014

A person was fatally injured when a truck and motorcycle crashed on winding Highway 94 between Dulzura and Potrero. The crash at the intersection of Campo and Barrett Lake roads, just east of the Tecate cutoff, was reported at 11:10 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol. The crash involved a truck and a motorcycle, but authorities did not immediately state which vehicle was associated with the death. He or she was declared dead at the scene at 11:49 a.m., Cal Fire Capt. Kendal Bortisser said. It was unclear if anyone else was injured.
