Albuquerque man killed in a fiery Florida crash.

Doug Bolkema was driving a semi-truck near Gainesville, Florida last week when another semi and a sedan crossed the median, crashing into him and a church passenger van.

Bolkema and six others were killed.

Bolkema's family says the father of four took up truck driving in 2017 to help pay for his children's college tuition.

He also had a desire to travel and found that truck driving was the perfect job.

Bolkema was able to return home for Christmas for an extended stay, moments his family says they will never forget.
