CHARLOTTE, NC : Driver dies after crashing into building in north Charlotte on Tuesday, 8th November 2016

A driver who crashed into a building in north Charlotte Tuesday morning has died, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police say.
CMPD says 53-year-old Tony Lamar Cunningham crashed around 4:27 a.m. in the 3700 block of Brookshire Boulevard, near Interstate 85. The area was closed for a time.
Medic took Cunningham to Carolinas Medical Center-Main where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Police say speed and impairment do not appear to be factors in the crash.
