LAS VEGAS, NV : 1 dead after crashing into concrete barrier on Sunday, 24th March 2024

A 53-year-old man died after crashing into a concrete barrier Sunday night at Tropicana Avenue and Buffalo Drive.

The crash was reported shortly after 10 p.m. According to Las Vegas Metropolitan police, the driver of a Honda Accord failed to stop at a red light while heading south on Buffalo toward Tropicana, which is a T intersection. The Honda crashed into a concrete barrier.

He was transported to Spring Valley Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

This is the 45th traffic-related death in Metro’s jurisdiction for 2024.
