Morris County, NJ : 15-year-old arrested after high-speed chase of stolen vehicle ends in crash on Tuesday, 17th November, 2020

A 15-year-old was arrested Tuesday in Morris County after police said they found him hiding in a driveway following a high-speed chase involving three cars.

The chase began about 1:35 a.m. when a police officer saw three vehicles speeding through Harding Township, authorities said.

A Madison police officer chased the vehicles, but terminated the pursuit when the vehicles entered Chatham, police said. A Chatham police sergeant, waiting for the speeders in the area of Watchung and Hillside Avenues, then heard a crash, police said.
