Albany, GA : Driver injured and charged in single car accident on Liberty Expressway on Sunday, Nov 8, 2015

A single car wreck blocked one lane of southbound traffic on Liberty Expressway after a car ran into the bridge wall over the Flint River around 10 a.m. Sunday.

According to Albany Police 28-year-old Shantori Jackson was driving southbound on the Liberty expressway when she hydroplaned on standing water.

Jackson's car spun twice in the inside lane and struck the center guard rail and then hit the bridge guard rail.

Officials say Jackson was taken to the hospital after complaining of injuries and was charged with driving too fast for conditions.
