A Ridgefield man was killed in a crash on Oxford Road, Route 67, early Monday morning, after his Toyota
Highlander flipped over and landed in a culvert, State Police said.
Noah Benjamin Lubitz, 23, of Craigmoor Road in Ridgefield, was transported to Waterbury Hospital, where he was
pronounced dead.
Lubitz was driving south on Route 67 at 12:27 a.m. Monday when his vehicle veered off the right side of the
road and went down an embankment, trapping him inside, officials said.
The road, a major commercial route linking Oxford to the lower Naugatuck Valley, reopened shortly after 6 a.m.
