MESA, AZ : Fiery crash closes eastbound US 60 freeway during commute on Friday, September 16, 2016

A fiery crash involving a dump truck and several other vehicles has closed the eastbound U.S. 60 freeway at the Loop 101 freeway on the Tempe-Mesa border during the Friday morning commute.
Video showed the wreckage blocking most of the lanes at Alma School Road in Mesa, though later the fire appeared out and accumulated traffic was being allowed through in the HOV lane.
The Arizona Department of Transportation says eastbound U.S. 60 would remain closed through the morning commute.
ADOT suggested that drivers use alternate routes and says drivers on westbound U.S. 60 shuld expect long delays and lane restrictions.
Details on the wreck were not immediately available.
