Goshen, IN : Two injured in Noble County collision on Wednesday morning, March 16, 2017
Two Noble County residents were injured Wednesday morning during a head-on collision near Kendallville.
According to a Noble County police report, officers responded at 5:40 a.m. to the report of the injury crash at C.R. 900 East and Ind. 8. The officers found a 2005 Dodge Durango and 2008 Chevrolet Equinox with "heavy front end damage" upon their arrival at the scene.
Boni Coffelt, 30, Albion, was eastbound in the Durango on C.R. 900 East passing another vehicle when police stated she drove head-on into Hilary Bowman, 26, Kendallville, driving the Equinox westbound.
Coffelt sustained a cut to the head and complained of knee pain. She was transported to Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne for treatment. Bowman complained of neck, chest and knee pain and was transported to Parkview Noble Hospital, Kendallville.
No details of possible citations were given.
