TEXAS COUNTY, MO : Edgar Springs Mo woman killed in single-car crash in Texas County on Sunday, 5th November 2023

A woman from Edgar Springs, Missouri has died after a single-car crash Sunday morning.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, 42-year-old Deeann Morris was driving her Volkswagen Jetta around 6 a.m. on U.S. Highway 63 near Licking, Mo.

The crash happened when her car went off the right side of the road, hit a guardrail, went back on the road, and went off the left side of the road, and hit a guardrail on that side. The car then overturned, and Morris was thrown out. The car stopped in a steep ravine.

The crash report states she was pronounced dead by the coroner at the scene around 1 p.m. Troopers went out to the call about the car in the ravine around 12:23 p.m.
