ROCHESTER, NY : Boy, 3, in critical condition after hit-and-run on Mt. Read Boulevard on Wednesday, 10th July 2024

A three-year-old boy is fighting for his life after being hit by a car on Mt. Read Boulevard late Wednesday night.Joshua Navarro was able to get out of a door that hadn’t completely locked or shut and started walking into the lanes of traffic, according to his grandmother, Nereida Torres.

“The door didn’t lock properly. He saw the opportunity. My son was throwing out the trash. He saw the opportunity and he just…” Torres said.
