SAN ANTONIO, TX : Dozens of SAPD officers killed in the line of duty remembered at memorial ceremony on Friday, 31st May 2024

The sound of bagpipes, a quartet of helicopters and a 21-gun salute presided over a memorial ceremony where dozens of San Antonio police officers killed in the line of duty were remembered Friday morning.

Held in the courtyard of the SAPD Training Academy, the ceremony honored more than 50 officers who took an oath to protect the seventh-largest city in the U.S. Congressman Tony Gonzales served as a featured speaker.
