Boulder,CO: Boulder Canyon Drive re-opened after crews clear crashes on October, Monday 9th 2017
Boulder Canyon Drive has been re-opened in both directions after several crashes due to the snowy conditions caused crews to shut the canyon down for a few hours.
The Colorado State Patrol said at 12:30 that the canyon was re-opened in both Boulder and Nederland after cleaning up some crashes and plowing the roads.
Due to the crashes, Colorado Department of Transportation crews earlier in the day were not been able to get plows all the way through the canyon.
At this time, no cities have been placed on accident alert. About 2,500 customers are also without power in the Boulder area.
Boulder saw about 3 inches of snow overnight and could get up to 4 more inches by the end of the day.
