Sunbury, PA : An unidentified motorcyclist died on April, Sunday 23rd 2017
An unidentified motorcyclist died after his motorcycle went off the road on State Route 204 in Jackson Township, Snyder County, late Saturday or early Sunday and crashed, state police at Selinsgrove said.
Police said the victim was headed north when he failed to negotiate a left-hand curve north of Fetter Road. The Harley-Davidson motorcycle went off the east berm and over an embankment. The victim struck a speed limit sign, a bush and multiple small trees before ending up in a drainage ditch, police said. The victim, who was not identified, was found dead at the scene.
Police said additional information will be released pending notification of the victim's family.
DH&L Ambulance and Kratzerville Fire Department assisted at the scene.
