Grand Junction, CO : One dead, at least two injured in Delta head-on crash on Monday, February 6th 2017

One person has died, and two others sustained serious injuries, following a two-vehicle crash in 1300 block of U.S. Highway 50 in north Delta on Monday night.

Delta police said today that they believe the two-vehicle crash was head-on, and involved four people. The fourth person allegedly involved in the accident sustained unknown injuries and refused care, police said. The vehicles tied up Hwy. 50 for more than five hours.

Police are still investigating the crash and are withholding the identities of the people involved pending that investigation.
